This one-day street photography workshop in Dublin on 11 July 2026 is designed to help you see the city through a more abstract and intentional lens. We will move beyond the ordinary to focus deeply on composition, texture, and the play of light. While street photography is often about the moment, this day is about the frame and how to use the environment as a canvas for your creative vision.
Throughout the day, Paul will help you master the art of the reflection, using Dublin’s glass, water, and metallic surfaces to create layers and depth in your work.
We’ll explore how harsh shadows and soft gradients can transform a mundane corner into a geometric study, helping you take the first steps toward a more proactive and painterly way of seeing the street.
With a small group (six people max), we will discuss how to refine your technical eye. We will be hunting for those spontaneous textures and fleeting light pockets that create compelling imagery. You’ll leave with a creative tank full of inspiration, a sharper eye for detail, and a collection of experimental images that mark the beginning of a new visual journey.
