Paul Murraly is a designer and photographer based in Dublin, Ireland. As part of his continuing visual art practice Paul creates images through the medium of documentary and street photography. He explores the intersection of the built environment with the people living there, with a particular focus on human stories.
He is co-founder of the Dublin Street Photography Festival.
In 2023, he was awarded an Emerging Artist Bursary Award from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and the Arts Council of Ireland. He is a finalist in the Italian Street Photo Festival.
Paul completed his studies in Fine Art, Photography and Media Design in DIT in 1990. He has been a practicing graphic designer of over 30 years and is currently creative director in one of Ireland’s leading design studios. He is a member of the Institute of Designers in Ireland and a past Board member of the Graphic Design Business Association.
